Improving Money Management

Contractors need a little help running things, and they're not afraid to admit it. In its 2005 U.S. Market Construction Overview Update, Raleigh, N.C.-based construction consulting firm FMI found that more than 80% of trade contractors say they could save at least 5% of their annual field labor costs by improving management practices. And nearly one in 10 say they could save more than 20%.
