Integrated Electrical Services, Inc., Houston, recently announced the acquisition of five companies with combined annual revenues of approximately $51.4 million, bringing total proforma annualized revenues to about $1.2 billion. The new partners are: Midlands Electric, Omaha, Ne.; Anderson & Wood Construction Co., Meridian, Ind.; Modern Electric Inc., Baltimore; Collier Electric, Naples, Fla.; and Newcomb Electric Co. Inc., Roanoke, Va.
A leading provider of specialized contracting services to electric utilities and telecommunication/cable television operators, Quanta Services, Inc., also announced the recent acquisition of Computapole, Inc., Pleasonton, Calif., Edward’s Pipeline Co., LLC, Denver, N.C.; Haines Construction Co., Woodward, Okla.; Hudson & Poncetta, Inc., Santa Rosa, Calif.; Conti Communications, Inc., South Plainfield, N.J.; Pac West Construction, Costa Mesa, Calif.; Bonneville Construction Co., Las Vegas; Ranger Directional, Inc., Lafayette, La.; Renaissance, Inc., Yuba City, Calif.; Thorstad Brothers Tiling, Inc., Chokio, Minn.; and Trawick Construction Co., Inc., Chipley, Fla.
