Part of a series of safety standards developed by the Accredited Standards Committee A10, this requirement doesn't cover permanently installed suspended scaffold systems or aerial platforms. Its purpose is to serve as a guide for contractors, labor, and equipment manufacturers in the construction and demolition industries.
