Wafer Fabrication Facility Completed
Integrated Electrical Services, Inc., Houston, announced its participation in the recent fast-track completion of a $200 million semiconductor wafer fabrication facility for Philips Semiconductors. The design and installation of complete electrical, control, and information systems were provided by DKD Electric Co., Integrated Electrical Services’ office in Albuquerque, N.M.

NECA Focuses on Young Leaders
As D.R. Borden begins his second term as president of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), he plans to focus on young industry leaders. Borden would like to see NECA develop new programs geared to embracing and grooming young people to assume leadership roles in their electrical contracting businesses and the local and national association. New educational programs are in the works.
