Aggreko, GenTran, Palmer Electric

Mark Construction Co. recently selected the commercial division of Winter Park, Fla.-based Palmer Electric Co. to provide electrical contracting for a new elementary school for Lake County Schools, headquartered in Tavares, Fla. Matern Professional Engineering, P.A., Maitland, Fla., is the electrical engineering firm for this project.
Miami-based Aggreko, through the acquisition of GE Energy Rentals, recently opened a new facility to provide rental power generation, temperature control, and oil-free compressed air equipment to industrial and commercial operations in South Florida. Aggreko's new Miami facility is located approximately five miles from the Miami International Airport and is adjacent to the Port of Miami.
Atlanta-based GenTran Corp. and Le Center, Minn.-based WINCO, Inc. recently formed a co-marketing agreement that allows the two companies to expand their distribution through reselling each other's products. Beginning this month, GenTran will resell WINCO's line of portable and stationary generators to its electrical distributor customers and WINCO will resell GenTran's popular manual and automatic transfer switch systems and power distribution equipment to its generator and rental equipment dealers.
