Milwaukee-based Penta Technologies, provider of enterprise software for the construction industry, recently formed a strategic partnership with San Diego-based Trade Service, developer of Tra-Ser, a material and pricing database for the electrical and plumbing/HVAC specialty contracting industries. Under the agreement, the Tra-Ser Premier material pricing database has been integrated with Penta Construction ERP software.

Santa Ana, Calif.-based Onyx Power, designer and manufacturer of custom power magnetics and power distribution equipment for the data center, telecommunications, and alternative energy industries, has been acquired by Richmond, Va.-based Power Distribution, Inc., a Bertram Capital, San Mateo, portfolio company. Financial terms were not disclosed.
