Clear Skies Solar to Install $750,000 PV System for Historic Hotel

Clear Skies Solar recently announced a Letter of Intent with Hotel Mt. Lassen, Susanville, Calif., to install a solar energy system.

Clear Skies Solar, developer of solar energy products and full-service integration company specializing in the installation of commercial photovoltaic (PV) solar systems, recently announced a Letter of Intent with Hotel Mt. Lassen, Susanville, Calif., to install a solar energy system. Under the contract, Clear Skies Solar will install a 120kW solar PV system that is designed to offset roughly 65% of the building’s current energy usage.

The project is structured utilizing a third party Power Purchasing Agreement. Under this financing arrangement, the hotel will purchase the power generated by the system for 20 years.
