Utility breaks ground for new training facility and service center
Pittsburgh-based Duquesne Light Co. recently announced plans to invest more than $500 million in the region’s electric infrastructure to replace aging circuits and equipment. The utility company made the announcement at the groundbreaking ceremony for its new training facility and service center.
In the next several years, the company expects to add 150 full-time employees in addition to 120 project-specific positions available to skilled trades people in the region.
