IEC Chesapeake Sponsors Azmuith Leader’s Return to National Youth Science Camp To Lead Solar Energy Study

June 27, 2012

IEC Chesapeake member Jeff Gilbert will represent IEC Chesapeake and his company Azimuth Solar Training in leading a directed study on solar energy July 3-6 at the National Youth Science Camp at Camp Pocahontas near Bartow in the eastern mountains of West Virginia’s Potomac Highlands. Gilbert is IEC Chesapeake’s leading provider of renewable energy continuing education training. The National Youth Science Camp is a unique, four-week science education program for young scientists the summer after they graduate from high school. Students from around the world are challenged academically in lectures and hands-on studies and have voluntary opportunities to participate in an outdoor adventure program, gaining a new and deep appreciation for the great outdoors. This will be Jeff Gilbert’s 17th year leading a directed study on solar energy at the National Youth Science Camp.
