“King of the Contractors” Crowned

Matt Averbeck was crowned “King of the Contractors” at the Grainger-sponsored contractor competition. The competition included a race through an industrial obstacle course designed to test the contractors’ speed and precision in a variety of tasks, including installing lighting, cutting pipe, and hammering nails.

Thursday, June 1, in Florence, Ky., local electrical contractor Matt Averbeck was crowned “King of the Contractors” at the Grainger-sponsored contractor competition. The competition included a race through an industrial obstacle course designed to test the contractors’ speed and precision in a variety of tasks, including installing lighting, cutting pipe, and hammering nails. The grand prize was a Grainger shopping spree.
