Companies combining flywheel power systems and UPS systems
Liebert recently signed an agreement with Pentadyne Power Corp. to integrate the company’s Voltage Support Solution (VSS) flywheel power system with its series 610 and Npower UPS systems. A single model VSS 120 provides sufficient power to support loads up to 150kVA, and multiple units in parallel can provide ride through for power levels as high as 2MW.
