Version 3.4 includes support for self-installed devices and networks

San Jose, Calif.-based LonMark International recently released version 3.4 of its Interoperability Guidelines. The guidelines provide manufacturers with details on how to design open, interoperable products based on the LonWorks networking platform.

The new version includes information on the Interoperable Self-Installation protocol.
