Osram Sylvania Wins 2008 Energy Star Sustained Excellence Award

EPA and DOE honor lighting company’s environmental protection through energy efficiency

Danvers, Mass.-based Osram Sylvania was recently awarded the 2008 Energy Star Sustained Excellence award by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) in recognition of the company’s continued leadership in protecting the environment through energy efficiency. The lighting manufacturer’s accomplishments will be recognized at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on April 1.

Osram Sylvania is a three-time winner of the Sustained Excellence award, which is given to a select group of organizations that have exhibited outstanding leadership year after year.
