Thomas Edison was one of the most prolific inventors who ever lived. We did a little digging around and came up with seven of his inventions (or would-be inventions)  you might not know about.

Thomas Edison was one of the most prolific inventors who ever lived. During his lifetime, he was granted more than 1,000 patents in the U.S. alone. With that many inventions to his credit, there’s bound to be one or two we never heard about, right? Maybe a few that didn’t work out? Maybe something a little unusual or even controversial? Well, we did a little digging around and came up with seven of his inventions you might not know about, including one that is still clouded in mystery. Enjoy!
