NEMA publishes ANSI C136.1, "American National Standard for Roadway and Area Lighting Equipment—Filament Lamps—A Guide for Selection"

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) recently published ANSI C136.1, “American National Standard for Roadway and Area Lighting Equipment — Filament Lamps — A Guide for Selection.” This is a guide for the proper selection of filament lamps for use in roadway and area lighting equipment. C136.1-2012 includes updated reference documents and modernized terms in line with current industry terminology. Information covered can also be found in American National Standards ANSI C136.4, ANSI C136.5, ANSI C136.6, and ANSI C136.11.
