The National Lighting Bureau (NLB) wraps up its series of videos from panel discussions among lighting experts with a look at digital-addressable lighting interface (DALI) systems and their ongoing evolution through international standards and education.
The panel, moderated by EdisonReport Publisher Randy Reid, brings together Marty Riesberg, director of curriculum development at the Electrical Training Alliance, and James Yorgey, technical-applications manager for Lutron Electronics Co., to discuss the control capabilities of addressable lighting and issues such as training for proper commissioning and recommissioning of the systems, the importance of educating facility managers so they capture the long-term savings that can offset the higher up-front costs of the systems.
The video and the entire series are available from the NLB website: Shedding Light on Light: Digital Addressable Lighting
