Henderson Engineers, Inc. Acquires Corporate Energy Consultants

Henderson Engineers, Inc. strengthens its heath care expertise with acquisition of CEC.

Henderson Engineers, Inc. (HEI), which recently ranked No. 6 on EC&M’s 2013 Top 40 List of Electrical Design Firms, has acquired Corporate Energy Consultants (CEC), a mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering company. Founded in 1982, CEC has 15employees with target market sectors that include hospitals, outpatient facilities, and medical office buildings on a national basis.

“The acquisition of CEC will strengthen HEI’s healthcare experience from a portfolio, resource, and expertise perspective,” said Rich Smith, HEI president. “Additionally, CEC’s experienced staff is a great long-term benefit to our company.”
