Transtector Systems, Inc. is increasing its cabinet systems integration capabilities to include surge protected interior panel boards and load centers. The expansion reflects a year of research and development to create a flexible, affordable integrated surge solution for their customers.

Dubbed the ISP Series, the product line has four sizes : 20” , 44”, 56” and 68” in length with a standard 20” width and seven inch depth. All cabinets are listed to UL 891 and enlist UL 1449 Second Edition surge suppression. “We’ve wanted to offer an affordable and flexible surge protected panel board solution to customers for some time” said Jim Nelson, VP of Sales. “We’re now able to balance all the components customers want, at an affordable price using the quality of design and suppression we know to be effective.”

The ISP Series is an options driven concept that allows customers to specify three sizes - 100, 200 or 400 amp service, single or three phase, multiple breaker manufacturers, 12, 24, 30 or 42 breaker positions in the load center, multiple types and designs for suppression and multiple main connect options. The ISP Series also feature the optional GE Zenith ZTX ATS that is field adjustable between 208 and 240 volts. It is available for single and three-phase power and certain cabinets are field upgradeable to add ATS after initial installation.

“All told, we have over 175 different configurations to meet our customer specifications” added Nelson. “When we look at the market, we’re hard pressed to find such a high quality, customizable solution without sacrificing price and delivery” The ISP Series will carry the standard Transtector 10-year manufacturer and five year unconditional suppression warranties.
