The FBRS4200R plated steel box with adjustable bracket now features higher weight ratings for fans and luminaires installed in retrofit construction

The FBRS4200R plated steel box with adjustable bracket now features higher weight ratings for fans and luminaires installed in retrofit construction. The UL-/CSA-listed box is rated for a 150-lb luminaire or a 70-lb fan when installed on joists spaced 16 in. on-center, and 70 lb for either a luminaire or fan on joists spaced 24 in. on-center. According to the company, bracket ends bite into wood rafters or joists, holding the product securely in place. Additional features include a mud cover and installed NM cable connector.
