The non-metallic IN/OUT box for ceiling fixtures is fully adjustable to accommodate varying ceiling thicknesses, such as single or double drywall. Preset for a ½-in. ceiling, the box depth adjusts up to 1½-in. before or after the ceiling is in place with an always-accessible depth adjustment screw. In addition, the product complies with the 2014 NEC, 314.20 for setback boxes, mounts securely to a joist in new construction, and is fixture rated and UL-/CSA-listed.
