Flame-resistant fabric and finish

Sept. 22, 2013
Mount Vernon FR introduces FlexTex FR fabric and amDry water-repellant finish.

FlexTex flame-resistant (FR) fabric features an elastomeric fiber that allows it to flex up to 14% with a 97% recovery, according to the company. Designed to meet the requirements of ASTM F1506, the fabric has a bilateral flex that allows it to elongate sideways and diagonally, helping to eliminate sagging or bagging. amDry is a durable water-repellent finish that can be applied to any of the company’s FR fabric to deliver protection to workers in water-intensive jobs and industries. Fabrics finished with amDry have a spray rating of 90/100.
