measurement points. The unit provides users with a choice of common communication architectures to communicate data, including serial RS485 using Modbus protocol, a wired Ethernet port, or 802.11 WiFi for radio-based communication. When using WiFi, the product secures the data using WEP, WPA, or WPA2 encryption. Featuring extensive on-board memory for data-logging and load profiling of energy consumed over time for each circuit, the system allows users to create energy reports and sub-metering energy usage bills via software.
