The PBB push-button box combines polycarbonate plastic and 10% fiberglass for higher corrosion resistance than steel versions in washdown, humid, and outdoor applications. According to the company, the box is 20 times lighter than comparable steel models. Suited for 22-mm and 30-mm push buttons, the device is available in sizes ranging from 0.89 in. × 1-in. to 1.22 in. × 4 in. In addition, it is UL508/NEMA type 4X and type 6 listed #E343339, UL industrial controls and CE Low Voltage directive 2006/95/EC listed, non-chlorinated and non-brominated, flame-retardant with a UL-94 V0 rating, and RoHs-compliant.
