The M12 rotary tool features a powerful motor, grinder-style exhaust ports, and a design that protects the front bearing from contaminants such as drywall dust. With a variable speed of 5,000 rpm to 32,000 rpm and a collet that is compatible with all 1/32-in. to 1/8-in. shank accessories, the cordless tool weighs 1.3 lb and measures 9.5 in. long. In addition, the product features REDLITHIUM batteries, which the company says provide up to 40% more run time, 20% more power, and 50% more recharges than other lithium products on the market.
