Two of Powervar’s UPS lines have passed International Building Code seismic rating testing.

The Security Plus Series and 3200 Series lines of uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs) have passed International Building Code seismic rating testing. Features of the Security Plus Series include: the ability to correct input power factor to near unity (0.99), a static bypass switch that allows devices to remain operational in the event of extreme inrush currents, low-input THDi, and 0.9 output power factor. The 3200 Series 3-phase features include:industry-leading inrush current capability that can withstand up to 300%, a high efficiency rate that can reach up to 93%, and the widest input range in the industry, according to the company.
