Designed for use with 18AWG solid wires, the PowerPlug push-in disconnect meets both the Canadian Electrical Code 30-308(4) and 2008 National Electrical Code 410.10(G) for nonresidential fluorescent luminaires with ballasts. Targeting the retrofit market, the 2-wire 182 and 3-wire 183 models are both rated for 120V/3A applications and temperatures up to 105°C (221°F) with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating. In addition, both models are manufactured to fit through a standard ½-in. knockout.
