The male threads are located on the locknut of the Space-Saver EMT connector to increase maximum usable space inside the box. The locknuts are also designed with angled teeth to bite into the enclosure and prevent vibration-induced loosening, and a smooth pulling surface eliminates cable stripping. The connectors are available in 1/2-, 3/4-, and 1-in. sizes in set-screw and compression styles.
