  1. branch circuit; 600V
  2. feeder; 35kV
  3. tray-rated; 2.4kV

Answer: D

There is a new paragraph in Sec. 230.44 that requires cable trays to be affixed with a permanent label with the wording "Service-Entrance Conductors" where the cable tray supports service-entrance conductors. The labels shall be located as to be clearly visible after the installation.

There is also a new paragraph in Sec. 392.18(H) that requires cable trays containing conductors rated at more than 600V to be affixed with a warning notice carrying the wording "DANGER – HIGH VOLTAGE – KEEP AWAY" in a readily visible position with a spacing not to exceed 10 ft.

ANSI Z-535.2 or ANSI Z-535.4 may provide additional guidelines for the warning notice.
