    As noted in Sec. 210.12(C) of the 2017 Edition of the NEC, “All 120V, single-phase, 15A and 20A branch circuits supplying outlets and devices installed in guest rooms and guest suites of hotels and motels shall be protected  by arc-fault circuit interrupter protection as described in 210.12(A)(1) through (6).”
