There’s a new requirement in Sec. 600.4(B) of the 2017 NEC. It notes the following: When retrofitting signs equipped with tubular light-emitting diode lamps powered by the existing sign sockets, the sign shall include a label alerting service personnel that the sign has be modified, meets the requirements of Sec. 110.21(B), includes a warning not to install fluorescent lamps, and is visible during relamping.
