LED lamps sold at Walmart are being recalled for an electrical shock hazard.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says water can enter the lamps when they’re used in wet locations.

The 14W PAR38 lamps were sold under the TCP and Great Value brand names. They are white and produce a soft white (3000 Kelvin) or bright white (5,000K) color temperature.

Recalled units have an item number of “L14P38D30KFL”, “L14P38D50KFL”, “RLP381430WL” or “GVRLP381430WL” and the date code printed directly on the white plastic heat sink, just above the screw in base.

Consumers will need to shut off power to the lights and disengage the lamp to check the item number and date code.

The lamps were sold at Walmart and electrical distributors nationwide from May 2015 through October 2015 for about $20. No incidents or injuries have been reported.
