A subcontractor was shocked and fell off a ladder while working on a high school renovation in Marlborough, Mass. The incident happened on May 22, and the worker suffered from a head injury after being knocked off the ladder and falling about eight feet.

According to a report from the Metrowest Daily News, the subcontractor was conscious. A safety officer working for general contractor CTA Construction, of Waltham, is investigating the circumstances.

The school’s renovation project is entering its third and final year. It is aimed at bringing the school building up to code, as well as installing energy efficiency upgrades, the report said.
