Two Injured In Arc Flash Fire in Florida

The fire started after an electrical arc flash occurred in a motor control center this past Tuesday.

Two people were injured in a fire at the Indiantown Cogeneration Facility in Florida. According to a report from WPBF 25 News, the fire started after an electrical arc flash occurred in a motor control center this past Tuesday.

The facility is out of service while officials investigate the equipment to determine the cause of the electrical arc flash.

One person was flown to a nearby burn center in serious condition. Officials said they did not believe his injuries are life-threatening. The other victim has been released from the hospital.
