Electrician's Van and Tools Stolen at Home Depot

The electrician parked his van at a Home Depot in the Detroit area and went in for some last minute tools for a job.

A Detroit electrician is missing a van and about $7,000 worth of tools. The man parked his van at a Home Depot in the Detroit area and went in for some last minute tools for a job, according to WXYZ Detroit. 

After spending about 15 minutes in the store, he came out to the the parking lot to realize that his vehicle was missing. 

“We had ladders, all of our electrical tools,” he said. “If you needed to do electrical it was in there."

When police got to the scene, the electrician wasn’t able to file a police report without his registration, which was in the stolen van. Home Depot has video of the incident, and police say they are looking into it, the report said.
