The WS 64-U is a universal tool for end and mid-span stripping a wide range of cable sizes typically found in electric utility applications. The tool can be configured for end stripping, mid span stripping or both functions, and handles from 1/2-inch to 21/2-inch cable outside diameters. The tool's spring- loaded blade design allows for both end and mid span capability. This versatile tool design has the ability to strip outer-jackets, as well as secondary and primary insulations. The self-feeding stripping operation of this tool allows for minimal effort. The blades for end stripping and mid span stripping are interchangeable and allow for a range of insulation thicknesses.
