Article 400 covers the general requirements, applications and construction specifications for flexible cords and cables.

Where flexible cords are used in ambient temperatures other than _____ the temperature correction factors from Table 310.15(B)(2)(a) shall be applied to the ampacity in Table 400.5(A)(1) and Tables 400.5(A)(2).

The correct answer is: a) 30°C

Article 400 covers the general requirements, applications and construction specifications for flexible cords and cables. As noted in a portion of Sec. 400.5(A), "Where cords and cables are used in ambient temperatures other than 30°C, the temperature correction factors from Table 310.15(B)(2)(a) that correspond to the temperature rating of the cord or cable shall be applied to the ampacity in Table 400.5(A)(1) and Table 400.5(A)(2)."
