Appleton Launches New Shipping Program for Its Houston Warehouse

Sept. 3, 2009
The Houston Quick Response Program ships custom configured enclosures and controls in ten days or less

Appleton, Rosemont, Ill., recently introduced one of the industry's most comprehensive quick-ship programs for electrical starters, breakers, disconnects, junction boxes, and panelboards. In developing the program, Appleton extensively studied its warehousing and production facilities to implement a series of changes to operate more efficiently with shorter turnaround time between receiving an order to having it leave the company's Houston-based warehouse. No quote is required, nor are their delays for drawing approvals. Customers create their own drill and tap drawings or breaker schedule.

Distributors interested in registering for the Quick Response program should contact their Appleton representative, call Appleton customer service at (800) 722-8515, or e-mail customer service.
