A.R.E. recently launched a new interactive tool on its Web site that allows consumers to custom build and view a truck cap or tonneau prior to purchase.

Massillon, Ohio-based truck cap and tonneau manufacturer A.R.E. recently launched a new interactive tool on its Web site that allows consumers to custom build and view a truck cap or tonneau prior to purchase. By selecting the "Build/Quote Your Own Truck Cap" link, visitors can virtually display four varieties of fiberglass tonneaus and eight fiberglass truck cap designs on a full-size pickup truck. Once the cap or tonneau is virtually built to specifications, the consumer can request a price quote.

"A truck cap or tonneau isn't an impulse buy,” says Bryan Baker, director of marketing for A.R.E. “It's a well-thought-out investment. The interactive feature is a fun tool that will aid consumers in their decision-making process."
