The commercial division of Palmer Electric Co., Winter Park, Fla., has secured a contract from Brasfield & Gorrie, Birmingham, Ala., to wire 1500 SouthPark office building, Orlando, Fla. Palmer Electric’s scope of services comprises site and building electrical contracting, including systems for fire alarm, access control, and lightning protection.

EMCOR Group, Norwalk, Conn., recently announced that the Washington D.C.-based branch of Dynalectric Co. subsidiary has received a contract for electrical services at George Mason University Biomedical Research Lab, Manassas, Va. Dynalectric Washington D.C. will be responsible for the construction of nine labs, seven prep areas, and general offices at the 56,000-square-foot facility.

Norwalk, Conn.-based EMCOR Group also announced that the San Diego branch of its Dynalectric subsidiary has received a contract for the installation of electrical systems involved in a remodeling project at the San Diego Zoo. Dynalectric San Diego will be responsible for the installation of all electrical systems, including extensive site lighting, involved in the remodel of multiple sites over seven acres at the world famous zoo.
