3M Electrical Markets Division, Flexlink, GE Energy

3M Electrical Markets Division

St. Paul, Minn.-based 3M Electrical Markets Division and Atlanta-based DYMO Industrial recently announced the formation of a strategic alliance. Beginning June 1, the 3M Electrical Markets Division will offer a line of portable industrial-strength labelers through its distribution channels serving electrical markets in North America and key countries in Latin America and Europe.


Göteborg, Sweden-based FlexLink celebrates 30 years in conveyor systems technology in 2010. "We take the opportunity to celebrate our successful 30 years serving industry together with customers, business partners, and employees," says Mattias Perjos, CEO, FlexLink AB. "This is a good opportunity to manifest the achievements made over the years and to show our commitment to the future."

GE Digital Energy

The leading worldwide resource for clean, reliable, efficient energy delivery will be headquartered in Atlanta, with the opening of GE's Digital Energy business' new Smart Grid Technology Center of Excellence (COE). The center is expected to add about 400 new jobs over three years. It will combine the world headquarters for GE's Digital Energy business, a world-class smart grid engineering laboratory, and a world-destination smart grid customer solutions showcase.
