EMCOR Group Subsidiary Awarded Contract for Replacement of Electrical Systems at Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building

Norwalk, Conn.-based EMCOR Group, Inc. recently announced that the Portland, Ore.-based branch of its Dynalectric Co. subsidiary has been awarded a contract for the replacement of the electrical systems at the Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building in Portland, Ore.

Dynalectric will be responsible for replacing the entire electrical, fire alarm and tele/data systems in the 18-story, 500,000 sq-ft. Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building. To date, Dynalectric has been closely involved in the integrated project delivery (IPD) process, including on-site project management and building information modeling (BIM).

To be completed in 2013, the Edith Green building is being built to LEED platinum standards and will be home to innovative, sustainable technologies. Its construction is the largest American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project in Region 10 of the U.S. General Service Administration.
