The 450 is an auto ranging digital multimeter with a 2,000-count display and 0.5% basic DCV accuracy. The 470 is an auto ranging true rms multimeter with a 4,000-count display, 0.3% basic DCV accuracy, capacitance, and frequency functions. Both multimeters are equipped with non-contact infrared thermometers that measure from –4°F to 520°F. The distance to target ratio of 8:1 allows troubleshooting of small components. Emissivity is fixed at 0.95.
