Gold Medal Games contest awards trip for two to Beijing

GE Consumer & Industrial’s Electrical Distribution business, Plainville, Conn., recently named Kevin Fyfe the top prize winner in the GE Gold Medal Games, a contest designed to bring the excitement and spirit of the Olympic games to GE distributors. Fyfe’s prize — a trip for two to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games — includes airfare, accommodations, tickets to wrestling and swimming events, and $10,000.

Fyfe, an 18-year GE Supply veteran, currently works in Inside Sales at Gexpro, Norfolk, Va. “My manager asked all of us to participate in this promotion,” he says. “He told us we had a good chance to win, so why not try? Turns out he was right.”
