Sycamore, Ill.-based Ideal Industries recently launched a promotional offer that allows customers to purchase its Signaltek cable performance tester for $995 until June 30th from authorized IDEAL distributors, saving up to $300. Ideal also adding a free TraceTone tone generator and amplifier probe for testing continuity and locating signals of installed wire and cable.
SignalTek features an integrated time domain reflectometer (TDR) that accurately measures cable length and aides finding faults such as shorts, split pairs. and opens and can test various cables types including twisted pair data, coax, telephone, security alarm, and audio cables.
