Companies to create high-speed powerline networking, digital, and video applications

Leviton recently entered into a long-term development agreement with Arkados, a home networking and broadband powerline communications company, to develop powerline carrier networking applications based on HomePlug Power Alliance’s HomePlug 1.0 and upcoming HomePlug AV specifications. The AV specifications will enable high-speed data networking along with network security as well as provide digital audio and video streaming.
