Quanta wins $194 million job in Texas

Quanta Services, Houston, recently won a contract with the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) worth up to $194 million over five years. Quanta’s Irby Construction unit will build transmission lines and monitor environmental controls, structural foundations, installation, energizing of new transmission lines and the reconstruction of existing transmission lines.

The LCRA provides energy, water and community services in Texas. Quanta has performed various infrastructure services for LCRA over the past three years.
