When you say, “Jump!” do people ask, “How high?” If you think you’ve got the leadership mettle, SkillsUSA will be holding its National Leadership and Skills Conference and 38th SkillsUSA Championship in Kansas City, Mo., June 24-28, 2002. More than 4,000 students are expected to compete in 73 contests covering everything from construction technology to electrical skills.
All contests are run by and judged by representatives of industry using industry performance standards. The total in-kind contributions from industry and education – in donated time, equipment, and material – is valued at $25 million.
