The Osram Lightify lighting system features a cable-free Gateway that can be plugged into a standard wall outlet anywhere in a home or business, and wirelessly syncs with an existing WiFi network. The Gateway connects to Lightify devices (up to 50 per each Gateway) via standard ZigBee Home Automation protocols. Initial products include flexible, color-changing, indoor LED light strips; garden-spot LED lights; and an A19 Tunable White 60W replacement LED lamp that delivers more than 800 lm and features an adjustable color temperature range from 2,700K up to 6,500K at any dimness level. The company is also offering the free Lightify app that runs on Apple iOS7 or above and Android 4.1 or above. The app includes a variety options to control the lighting system.
