Leviton’s 20A/125V USB charger/tamper-resistant receptacle features two vertical USB ports that incorporate a smart chip that recognizes and optimizes the charging power of the device plugged in.
This 20A/125V USB charger/tamper-resistant receptacle offers the capability to charge two USB-powered electronic devices
using its two vertical USB ports, leaving the receptacle free to power devices requiring higher currents, including tablets and small kitchen appliances. The USB ports are Type A, 2.0/3.0, provide 2.1A of charging power, and incorporate a smart chip that recognizes and optimizes the charging power of the device plugged in. Available in white and light almond, the device is designed to fit in a standard wallbox, use a standard wallplate, and can be multi-ganged with the company’s standard wiring device.
