Fulham Co., a supplier of lighting sub-systems and electronics for commercial and specialty applications, launched universal voltage versions of its DirectAC direct-drive LED units. The DirectAC LED Engines were released earlier this year in a 120V version and with this product release, the same low-profile, self-contained LED engine with integrated driver is now available in a new unit that can support power ratings from 120 to 277 volts.
The DirectAC LED Engine was designed with the driver integrated on the circuit board, resulting in a cost-efficient, highly reliable lighting solution suitable for use in wall sconces or ceiling luminaires, either as new lighting installations or retrofits.

Lighting to Meet Dark-Sky Requirements
One of the world’s seven natural wonders, the Grand Canyon, is famous for its hiking trails, solitude, and beautiful nighttime views. To best optimize the stargazing experience while complying with the International Dark-Sky Association, a leading organization combating light pollution worldwide, the South Rim Visitor Center selected MH Lighting to upgrade its lighting system to utilize solutions from Vantage Controls, a brand of Legrand.
For the installation, MH Lighting used a single wire daisy chain that feeds through the individual fixtures to minimize the amount of wiring MH Lighting had to run through the park. Inside the fixture is a DALI driver from Vantage Controls that allows the fixtures to communicate with the central controller. Inside the visitor center there are two Vantage Equinox touchscreen control pads that employees and rangers use as the user interface for the lighting system.
IQ Wave is designed to contribute to comfortable, healthy workplaces by lighting the task, face and space. This can be provided thanks to Thorn’s patented MV-Tech optic, which produces soft, 360° light with no visible LEDs. To complete the range, the recessed version is now joined by IQ Wave surface and suspended. Available in 1,200mm and 1,500mm, they can be joined together in a continuous line, to create a sleek look.
Using Bluetooth technology, PRISM’s lighting effects can be directed by the designer or end user with the Prism handheld remote or with an iOs or Android smartphone using Nora’s ControLIT App. The PRISM remote control and Nora’s ControLIT™ App work in tandem to: select CCT or RGB; adjust dimming; set up zoning; and on/off pre-set times – even synching lights to the beat of music in a smart phone. PRISM is offered in a 4” aperture with 710 lumens and 5/6” aperture with 825 lumens.
Curtiss-Wright’s Industrial division recently announced the launch of the NRH305DR, a new "no-contact" rotary position sensor that extends the company’s portfolio of position sensors and offers an optimal combination of performance, safety and cost for OEMs designing vehicles and control systems.
